Installing Workbench Office Add-ins on a PC that has the Workbench client installed
The Workbench Office Add-ins for Microsoft Office are stored in the QWB_PRO share on the Workbench server (e.g. \\servername\qwb_pro\clients\Workbench Office Installers). The folders are broken down into Office version, 2007, 2010 & 2013, and there are installers for the 32 & 64Bit versions of Office (not the operating system) for Office 2010 and 2013.
Access the relevant installer folder for the version of Office you are currently on and double-click on the setup.exe file. At this point if .NET Framework is not installed you will be taken to the download page.
On the Welcome screen click [Next].
On the Select Installation Folder screen click [Next].
On the Select Web Service Location screen, leave the Location field blank and click [Next].
On the Web Service Cookie Domain Name screen click [Next].
On the Confirm Installation screen click [Next].
If you receive the User Account Control (UAC) prompt click [Yes]. Once the installation has completed click the [Close] button.
After installing the other Add-ins (depending on which ones you intend to use), it is recommended that you run the Workbench client once before opening the Office application you installed the add-in for (this ensures the correct information is in the registry).
