Once you have obtained the Remote Client Upgrader and ACC files, unzip them to a folder on the client PC that has Workbench installed but is having trouble updating.



Double-click RemoteClientUpgrader, and then click the button with three dots to locate the first ACC file.



As we are going to upgrade to v11 SP1 Patch 12, the first ACC file you need is the Workbench 11.acc so click on it and then click [Open].



With the correct ACC file loaded click the [Upgrade] button.



The upgrade process does not take very long and an Information message appears when the first file has finished, click [OK].



Click the button with three dots again to locate the next ACC file, in this case it will be the Workbench 11 Service Pack 1.acc file. With the correct ACC file loaded click the [Upgrade] button. Load each successive ACC file in turn and run them to upgrade Workbench until you reach the version of Workbench you are currently running, you can then close the RCU.
Workbench will now run but will not have to download any files from the server.
